In the beginning...
Eric Bompard Cashmere is above all a story marked by enthusiasm and interaction. An unconditional enthusiasm for the noble material cashmere with its incomparable softness. The story began around 30 years ago when destiny took Eric Bompard to the Gobi desert in Mongolia. It was there, in that vast stony, rocky territory, that he discovered a little goat known as the Capra Hisca whose long, extremely soft hair enabled it to survive at temperatures as low as -40°.
Eric Bompard instinctively embarked on designing of pullovers and fashion accessories. Eric Bompard believed so firmly in his project that he gave his name to what 25 years later was to become an indisputable reference for cashmere.
Eric Bompard owes his success in large part to the quality of his products and, although this quality comes at a price, he nevertheless set fair prices to enable as many people as possible to enjoy the softness of top-of-the-line cashmere.
As if responding to destiny, the cashmere produced by Maison Bompard are now available as far away as Asia. The company has thus come full circle, enjoying new meetings and new adventures along the way ...
